DQT was founded in 2004 with just a handful of ties. A potential gap in the market was seen for inexpensive, plain ties. After a steady start our range was expanded and the process repeated. “It’s more than just neckwear, it’s a passion.” Things slowly started to develop and we realised that initial envision of creating a neckwear company to fill a much needed market gap was actually becoming a reality. From the onset, our philosophy was to create inexpensive, but at the same time very high quality ties and with this, our name ‘Discount Quality Ties’ was created. With our rebranding in 2010, this became the acronym, DQT.
